Ice Climbers

U.S. Fish & National Wildlife Service & the Seney National Wildlife Refuge
The Seney National Wildlife Refuge was established in 1935 and covers more than 95,000 acres. Enjoy breathtaking views of the wilderness and wildlife when you visit this unique habitat. Birds, deer, moose, eagles, sandhill cranes, swans, loons, ducks, and more will amaze viewers as they hike, bike, walk, drive, or canoe through the refuge. The Marshland Wildlife Drive is a 7 mile one-way tour route which follows alongside wetlands, meadows, and forests. Three wheelchair accessible observation decks with viewing scopes make this a great wildlife watching opportunity .Over 88,000 visitors per year come to explore the Seney National Wildlife Refuge!

AuSauble Point Lighthouse
The AuSauble Point Lighthouse was built in 1874 along the picturesque shores of the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Tours are available during the summer.

Hiawatha National Forest - Over 1 1/2 million visitors per year!

Alger Underwater Diving Preserve
The Alger Underwater Diving Preserve in Munising Michigan is one of the greatest diving areas in the Upper Peninsula.  Munising is a harbor of refuge for boats seeking safe harbor from Lake Superior storms.  There are several major shipwrecks found within the Alger Underwater Diving Preserve:  Smith Moore, Bermuda, Kiowa, and Herman H. Hettler, just to name a few.
